Commercial Service Technician

Overhead Door Company is currently hiring motivated, hardworking individuals to join our team of technicians.

Candidates must be mechanically inclined, have the ability to work independently, problem solve, and conduct themselves in a professional manner with great customer service as a priority. Technicians travel to Commercial job sites and businesses in a company provided vehicle in the Michiana region.

General job tasks entail the following, but are not limited to:

• Provide annual/preventative maintenance and safety testing on all products.
• Prepare new and existing job sites for the installation of new equipment.
• Complete all required paperwork, such as work orders, according to the work performed.
• Repair/replace parts on existing equipment.
• Remove existing equipment and install new equipment.

Experience: Some previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience may be helpful, but willing to train the right candidate. New technicians will have up to two years of training with a skilled and experienced technician to learn the process and enhance their skills.

Candidates must be able to meet the following qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and carry for a distance of up to 50 feet.
• Must be able to work from heights of up to 40 feet.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold.

Benefits: Beginning technicians earn around $45,000-$52,000 annually and experienced technicians often make more than $65,000. Health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(K), and PTO offered upon completion of the first 90 days.
